When purchasing one or more of our digital products you do not receive a serial number, you will only get a single download link to that file by E-Mail.
We know that E-Mail accounts can be frustrating and we also know that you sometimes feel in need to delete some of your E-Mails from your inbox to get more space. We also know that hard drive disks can crash. However, you can easily retrieve purchased products using our order retrieval website. Simply enter your E-Mail address or Order Number and our system will send you your purchased products right away: Order Lookup Tool
All sales are final. Since all of our products are downloadable files, which cannot unfortunately be protected through the use of serial numbers, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on our digital eCommerce goods. RWtuts offers its products on an as-is basis. We cannot guarantee compatibility with each and every third-party plugin for RapidWeaver. German customers please note: we do not offer VAT invoices, please read our Imprint for more info about that. Some of our products are at an early alpha or beta stage and are therefore missing some core features and can also be buggy. By purchasing a Stack in alpha or beta the customer accepts that he purchases a still broken piece of software and is not eligible for a refund and/or PayPal claim.
However, our system detects if you've downloaded the digital good after purchase - if this should be the case you're no longer eligible for a refund. If you have purchased a product but didn't download it yet, you can still get a refund by sending us an E-Mail by hitting the "Contact us" button on top of the page.
Once you downloaded one or more of our stacks from our servers you'll receive a .zip or a .dmg file (depending on the type of Stack you've purchased - Stack suites usually ship with .dmg). All you need to do is to unzip this file. This will create a folder on your desktop including our stacks. Make sure that you already have Stacks 2 by YourHead installed, it won't work otherwise. Simply double click the Stacks file(s) and Stacks 2 should give you a notification that the Stack has been installed correctly. You should be able to find the stack(s) in your library in RapidWeaver.
With the recent release of Stacks 3 we’ve updated some of our existing Stacks to work with the new version, however these are made exclusively for Stacks 3 and won’t work with Stacks 2. We’ve received a fair amount of support tickets about customers who’re still using Stacks 2 asking us to support backward compatibility for our updated Stacks.
Unfortunately this is technically impossible - but we’ve made the old versions of our Stacks available in our Freebies section, so you can download them for free. However, you should note that these freebies are no longer supported, we won’t be answering support tickets about them. Take and use them in their current state because they will no longer receive updates. We’re also not responsible for any damage they could cause to your RapidWeaver project or website.
Due to these changes we’ve also pulled the old versions of our store - you’ll no longer be able to purchase them.
Facebook differentiates between personal profiles (e.g. Jon Doe from California), and sites/pages (e.g. HBO or Ed Sheeran's fan page).
Personal Profiles cannot be shown with the Facebook Pages Stack since the API does not allow it. To show your profile, you’d need to convert it to an official page - usually well known stars such like Robbie Williams are doing this. Their name is being shown as in a personal profile, BUT you won’t be able to add him as a friend or send him messages f.e.
This blog post sums up the difference between a profile and a page pretty good. Once you convert your personal profile to a site you’ll gain access to new features, but will also lose a lot, f.e. the friends feature or the timeline feature to browse through new posts from liked pages or groups you’re a part of. Click here to learn more about converting. Please act carefully, since converting to a public page cannot be undone as far as we know!
Another reason causing the Stack not to work could be because the page/site name you entered in the Stacks' settings does not exist, may have expired or is not visible to the public. We therefore recommend you to double check this pages settings, you can only change the visibility if you’re an administrator of that particular site - if you’re just a normal user or a moderator you cannot change this and should contact the admin instead to take further action.
Thank you for purchasing icons and buttons from us. In this article, we would like to show you how you can use them on your RapidWeaver website.
Once you downloaded one or more of our Icon sets you must unzip the file to get a folder copied to your hard drive disk. This folder contains different kind of sub-folders including rendered HD icons and buttons - regarding which pack you bought. The folder also includes a Photoshop file to let you customize anything. Please note that you may need advanced Photoshop skills for that.
Let's say you have a link to another website or a sub website of yours and want your visitor to click on that link. You could easily create a Hyperlink by using simple HTML code, this could look like this:
When previewing or exporting this link to your webhost, it will look like that:
Pretty crappy huh? To avoid something like that, you can easily use images as links, they will work like text in our example above but should look much nicer. People will love to click that button which results in more click-throughs. To include a button to a Hyperlink, you should note down this quick example:
Again we have our link to the example website in front of our button which works as a simple image. The source code "img src" loads up a picture from a server and put that in front of the hyperlink so that it appears as a link. In this example we simply used the image source "button.png". Make sure you uploaded the button with the name "button.png" to your webhost, the picture won't show up on your site otherwise. It's much easier to upload an image to web services like Amazon S3 or Dropbox, copy the pictures link to your clipboard and paste it into the "img src" section, such like this:
If everything works fine, you should see your button on your website. By clicking on it you should be transferred to the example page automatically.
The Pro membership is only 9,95€/month, and it is NOT recurring. This means that you’re NOT getting charged automatically. If you want to extend your subscription time, simply purchase another month. We’ll manually add that time to your virtual account.
No, we’re not dealing with accounts because we hate registration processes on the internet as much as you do. Your Pro membership is linked to the E-Mail address you use during checkout. This E-Mail is being whitelisted in our database to make sure you’ll get priority support, receive the premium newsletter and more. When your member time is about to expire we’ll manually E-Mail you with a brief notification.
As long as you didn’t request your free Stacks you’re eligible for a refund for 7 days after you’ve made your purchase. If you want to get a refund please request it using the Contact form on our site or by mailing support[at]rwtuts.net with your PayPal transaction ID and order number.
The official RWtuts App is completely free, without any In-App purchases or annoying ads. We think that you'll enjoy the App the most if we don't charge for it and also remove all distractions. Of course you can still donate some bucks to us if you want to support further development - simply send your donation via PayPal to paypal[at]rwtuts[.]net
The official RWtuts App is available for iPhone and all Android devices. The iPhone version can be downloaded directly from the AppStore, Android users have to manually download the .apk file from our servers and have to install the App on their own since the Google Play Store recently made strong restrictions towards App developers. Windows Phone will become available once the App becomes accepted on the Windows Store - we cannot give any ETA at this point.
